Festivals
Life on the streets of Takoma Old Town can be pure theater,
especially during the many festivals and events that are held
in the community. We have the Folk Fest in the spring, Jazz
Fest in the fall followed by the popular Street Festival in
October, not to mention the various events held throughout the
year to showcase the talents and offerings of our community.
For a glimpse into the heart of the neighborhood, explore the
Farmer’s Market with its organic meats, glorious flowers
and locally grown produce. Storytellers, musicians, and puppeteers
alike can be found at this and other community events.
